BB reports seeing a lone drummer at Avebury who he thinks is a Berber drummer.
He was using large fish bones as drum sticks.

Could this be the Berber Sturgeon?

I think this is what's called laughing in the face of adversity....... and very entertaining it was too.

Good to see you back Rose, glad to hear you've got a mouse in the house. I've just a broken (again) boiler to contend with. Never mind, someone once said cold showers are good for the sole.

I'm not even going to try a fishy pun - there can't be any left!!! I'm impressed that you got another one in June!
This thread reminds me of Peter Cook and Dudley doing their thing, perhaps this is an act for the Avebury Festival stage ...."Here we have PeteG and Megadread with their fish related patter".
(My Great Grandad was a Wholesale Fishmonger in the Market in Birmingham - he would be so proud!)
